Proverbs 18:4
The words of the mouth are deep waters, but the fountain of wisdom is a rushing stream.
Psalms 92:12-13
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; [13] planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.
Ezekiel 47:8
He said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, where it enters the Dead Sea. When it empties into the sea, the salty water there becomes fresh.
EXHORTATION
It was asked and whose are you? “Alleluia! You belong to Jesus, and He is your Shepherd, guiding you to springs of living water (Revelation 7:17). Like the river in (Ezekiel 47:8) He brings life and healing to your soul. You are planted by the Lord, flourishing like a palm tree, bearing fruit in His presence in and out of season! (Psalm 92:12-13). You are His, and He is yours, forever! ” (Proverbs 18:10) says, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” It’s no longer about strolling to the security tower, but running to our permanent companion and ever present help in need. His name is our refuge, we run to it, and we belong to Him!
(Proverbs 18:24) also says, “A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Jesus is that friend, and you’re His friend (John 15:15). No more doubt on whose you are. You belong to Him! Verse 16 says: you did not choose me, but I chose you. Yours is to run to and to stay in Him through the Word, prayer, praise, worship, fellowship, including walking in obedience. He is the living water that you and I need. Therefore, let us be encouraged to stay rooted in him. Let us seek to be like Him, to be living waters that flow in to give life to the salty dead sea. We are His. Amen.
